"A successful man is someone who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much, who has gained the respect of others and the love of children; who leaves the world better than he found it; who never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty ; who always looked for the best in others and gave the best he had. "
- a variation of "Success" by Ralph Waldo Emerson

Crazy Weekends

You know, weekends means more work for the parents. We can no longer confine Alvin in the house and we have been hopping all over the places in the DC metropolitan area just to release his endless energy. We brought Mason to most of our weekend trips since he now enjoys watching his big brother playing.

=== Air and Space Museum ===

Isn't this an amazing picture?

Mason, no worries. There is no gravity in the space. Your overweight problem is not a problem anymore.

Don't we look cute in this duck bib?

=== Baltimore Aquarium ===

It is a beautiful autumn day to the inner harbor aquarium. Thank you for our friends Dong and Rui took us along. Sister Eileen and brother Alex were great companion for Alvin too!

Alvin has been learning BIG and small in his day care. So, seeing the fishes in the aquarium is live study case. For the whole time, Alvin didn't even have time to brink his eyes.

=== Chemyjontri Park ===

This is the second time we enjoyed this wonderful kids-friendly park. Alvin's friend Andy was there too!

Mason recently learned a new facial expression.

No one wants to ride with this reckless pilot.
Mason is learning how to steer.

Do these two look like each other?

Our boys

*** Alvin's Update ***

Alvin is officially in his "Trouble Two" age. He starts to have his own way of thinking and becomes very stubborn. He loves his brother but sometime gets jealous, especially when it comes to toys and sharing parents' loves. He often gets confused about what he wants and crying is the only way to express. But, to parents, he has finally grown up to be a big boy!

Alvin didn't like the play mat when he was a baby. But, since whoever plays on the mat gets parents' attention, he thought he would just give it a try.

Alvin got a gold medal from his summer program.
Does he look like a Disney movie star?

*** Mason's Update ***
Mason still wakes up 2 or 3 times at night for feeding. Through the dim moonlight and her 2:35am eyes, Mom still can change Mason's diaper without a drop on the bed. Feeding, changing diaper and burping, the whole package only takes 15 minutes, and then everyone is happy and back to sleep again.

Mason loves to make faces. He is mom's boy.
I know. It is drooling time again.
Dad often abandons Mason on the rocker with the lion. He seems to be very content.
